Dear St. Charles Family,
During this evening's Adult Bible Study session, we will be discussing Jesus' Ministry Outside of Galilee (Judaea). You may download the handout now, and join our group on Zoom at 7:00 pm, and the passcode is 294899. Also, as a friendly reminder, next week's Zoom meeting has been postponed. We will return on Thursday, May 27th at 7:00 pm. I look forward to seeing you then!
In addition, many of you have been informed about the upcoming service for our beloved sister in Christ, Karen Miller. We will celebrate Karen’s life with a Memorial Mass in June, here at St. Charles Borromeo. This will offer us the opportunity to honor the life and ministry of Karen. Please stay tuned for additional information after the planning committee has met.
Equally important, I ask that you please continue to keep India in your prayers. This country, as well as so many others, is still experiencing a rising number of COVID-19 cases. We need to keep India and all those who have been affected by COVID-19 in our thoughts and prayers. If the Spirit moves you to donate to this cause, please visit the American Red Cross. Please join me in congratulating all of the participants and sponsors of the Second Eucharist group from last week's celebration. We are proud of each of you and welcome you to our Catholic family.
Finally, this Sunday we will be celebrating the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord. I welcome all to join me to attend one of the in-person Masses or to view our worship from your home. The liturgical color for this Mass is white. I look forward to seeing everyone this weekend!

Come be a part of this fun ministry!
The Young Adult Ministry welcomes all young adults between the ages of 18-35. We discuss topics in the faith as a way to strengthen our relationship with Jesus and our community.
On May 14th we will be watching a short video. After the video, we will talk about how the video impacted you.
On May 28th it's time to dust off your Bibles and find those scriptures that may be confusing, inspiring, or shocking. We'll discuss what God reveals to each of us.

The Men of Faith invites you to join us for a bicycle ride on Saturday, May 15th. at 8:00 am.
We'll meet at the St Charles parking lot at 8:00 am then head out for a loop through the neighborhoods and scenic hills of Holdener Park. Riders looking for a longer workout are welcome to continue down Mines Rd as far as they like, so this route will allow for folks to join for anywhere from 7mi to 15mi+.
