Happy Thursday, Everyone!
Today's special flocknote is on the topic of returning to church safely and ensuring that you and your family feel comfortable and safe during the unpredictable course of the Covid-19 pandemic.
At the moment, masks during Mass are only required for non-vaccinated persons. However, many of you may not want to take the risk of attending in person when most of the assembly is not masked. Therefore, we are looking to provide alternatives that will suit you. To do so, we need your input. If you would prefer a safer alternative, please complete THIS BRIEF SURVEY so that we can consider the options more wisely. If so desired, your survey response can remain anonymous.
Other topics in the survey include:
- Reinstatement of Little Lambs and Tiny Treasures
- Children's Liturgy of the Word
- Ministry for the Homebound
- Including music during Sunday's 7:30 am Mass once again
Additionally, you may share your thoughts in person after each Mass this weekend, or fill out a printed version of the survey.
I especially encourage everyone to attend the fun outdoor event ("God, Gospel, and Gather Fest" - see below), on our back lawn after Saturday's 5:00 pm Mass. Among other things, FREE FOOD from Fuddrucker's will be provided.
In addition to the event festivities, you will find a listening table where you can confidentially share anything that is on your mind. Your comments and suggestions are valued and most helpful to us!
Thursday Blessings,
Fr. Kwame
