Dear Saint Charles Borromeo family,
I invite everyone to join me on Zoom this evening at 7:00 pm for the first session of our new bible study series titled "Meet Lady Wisdom". You may download the handout beforehand, and join us on Zoom by clicking HERE at 7:00 pm.
Background information: We often read from the Bible’s wisdom books, but many of us are not aware of a “wisdom tradition” in the Bible. Yes, like other scriptures, the Bible offers us a culture, tradition, or heritage of how to be wise.
We will discuss divine wisdom in the following books of the Bible: Proverbs, Job, Ecclesiastes, Ecclesiasticus (Sirach or Wisdom of Ben Sira), Wisdom of Solomon, Song of Songs, and some New Testament texts.

Consider this an invitation to make simple dresses for girls in third-world countries! We need all kinds of help, sewing, ironing, cutting; bring your sewing machine or serger, iron, ironing board, scissors, along with your helping hands and we will put you to work!

WINGS is kicking off their“Finding Joy” series with our beloved Parochial Administrator Father Kwame, and most recent fully incardinated Priest within the Diocese of Oakland.
Father Kwame will present a talk on “Causes of Christian Joy” and will focus on some of the Christian practices that produce the spiritual (Christian) joy in our lives.
