- Safety Measures Due to Rising Omicron Cases - Due to the surge in Omicron cases, Fr. Kwame has elected to postpone all large gatherings within Borromeo Hall, and in each of the classrooms. Please contact your ministry leader for further details regarding your new meeting location.
- Parish Office Closed - The Parish Office will be closed January 17th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. If you have an emergency, please call 447-4549 and press option 9.
- Adult Bible Study - Fr. Kwame's "Meet Lady Wisdom" Bible Study Zoom sessions is Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 7:00 pm. Additional information will be provided in future flocknotes.
- Donate 2021 Christmas Cards - Donate your Christmas cards for recycling into Giving Tree gift tags for 2022. You may drop off cards to either the Parish office (during Business Hours – Mon-Thurs 9-4) or in the Chapel. Look for the decorated boxes available in both locations. Your donation is appreciated! Guest speaker Donna Wright Somerville is the Executive Director for Grateful Gatherings. Before starting Grateful Gatherings in 2013, she was a national television producer for over 20 years. Donna worked at ABC, NBC, CBS, and major cable outlets like Lifetime Television, HGTV, MSNBC and The Food Network; and produced shows with Joan Rivers and Phil Donahue.
Donna founded Grateful Gatherings after a chance meeting with a homeless family where she learned about how their struggles continued even when they got a roof over their head. Her previous career as a television producer gave her the experience needed to start and grow Grateful Gatherings, including connecting with families, growing a community of supporters and planning and executing transformation of apartments into beautiful and comfortable homes.
Since its beginning, Grateful Gatherings has helped over 900 people with not only beds and furniture, but with hope for a new future.
