Fr. Angelbert Chikere
Topic: “JOY: A Gift That Keeps Giving”
Multi-talented poet, writer, fine/creative artist, and cartoonist, Fr. Angelbert has a deep penchant for framing and translating human experiences into many possible forms of the creative and expressive art form. Besides offering several keynote talks and retreats, Fr. Angelbert has also published many of his works on several online media, in addition to his published book: “This Paradox This Love” (a poetic narrative on Love and Loving); and his co-authoring of the book: “A New Role for Education in 21st Century Africa: Essays.”
Fr. Angelbert holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Sacred Theology, furthering his academic work with a Masters in Divinity from the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University and a Licentiate in Sacred Theology from the University of St. Mary of the Lake, Mundelein, Illinois.
Currently, Fr. Angelbert is a priest of the Diocese of San Jose, presently serving as Parochial Vicar at St. Lawrence The Martyr Church, Santa Clara, and also ministers around the Bay Area.
