Dear Saint Charles Borromeo family,
Click HERE for last weekend's bulletin, where you may read my introduction to the new summer series of articles titled "Getting to Know the Leadership at St. Charles Borromeo".
Meanwhile, I hope you will enjoy watching the fun video (below) from my recent visit with the young students of GBI Godenu School in Ghana. Information about Darlene Murphy's involvement with this school and the WAVE Foundation, of which I am a board member, is also included below.
Blessings, everyone!

The GBI Godenu School is located near Hohoe, Ghana - a four-hour drive north of Accra.
With funds from the WAVE (West Africa Village Education) organization she founded, Darlene Murphy has been overseeing construction improvements to this site for 15 years. Only 80 children attended at first, all within the grades of K-6. Now, 300 children attend and the school covers grades K-9.
To date, WAVE donations have provided funds to complete the construction of buildings K-6, which initially consisted of a basic frame and roof. Donations also provided a new Jr. High building, a computer and library building, a bathroom facility with seven modern toilets, and a new playground.
