Stewardship in Action:
All About Our Christian Lifestyle
Being Catholic is a Christian lifestyle choice — a decision each one of us must consciously make. The foundational part of this decision is to make an ongoing and never-ending commitment to practice STEWARDSHIP, based upon the concept that everything we have — including our very life — is a gift from God. Each one of us is the sole caretaker or steward of these gifts.
As Christians, we give our TIME, TALENT, and TREASURE as our way of showing gratitude for God’s gifts to us. As baptized people, we give of ourselves just as Christ gave his very life for us on the cross. We give of our treasure by donating funds to support our community. We give of our time and talent by serving in each of the three ministry pillars of Christianity: Liturgy, Learning, and Living.
To keep the key elements of stewardship fresh in our minds, the leaders of our Liturgy, Learning, and Living Pillars will make brief presentations during the homily on the weekends of November 5-6, 12-13, and 19-20. These presentations will highlight the essential tenets of time, talent, and treasure. You should find them insightful and inspiring.
This enriching experience will provide practical ways for you to easily incorporate these foundational elements of our shared faith into your daily life. During these weekends, you will have the opportunity to explore the ministries that best match your talents and skills. Upon joining any of our ministries, you will be able to serve others and support our community in a manner uniquely your own!
