Dear St. Charles Borromeo Family:
I will sincerely miss each one of you during my vacation travels, which will begin tomorrow evening. For my time off, I will be flying to the Philippines and will return on February 3. In addition to a time for relaxation and renewal, this trip will also provide an opportunity to dive deep into a country where Catholicism has been celebrated for over 500 years. As a result, I will be visiting several different Churches. I am particularly looking forward to visiting The Manila Cathedral, where Mass is held every hour. On my return, I will tell you all about it!
While I am away, we are blessed to have a guest priest who will preside over all of our scheduled Masses. As you know, there is a shortage of priests and we are very fortunate that one is available during this time. Therefore, please express your gratitude to him for his service.
Meanwhile, please join me in congratulating our newest brothers and sisters in Christ (and their parents) who are listed below. These are the newly baptized members of our Saint Charles Borromeo community!
Finally, if you missed last week's bulletin, please take a moment to read my article, "Now's the Time to Point Out Jesus"
Blessings, everyone, and I look forward to seeing you when I return from the Philippines!
