For today's holy day of obligation, we celebrate the Solemnity o the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. If you missed our 9:00 a.m. Mass, I welcome you to join us this evening for our 7:00 p.m. Mass. If you are unable to attend in person, you may watch the live video of our 9:00 a.m. Mass.
Meanwhile, our adult learning ministry (OCIA) program has resumed and is looking for your help to make this year the most successful ever! If you are looking for a deeper knowledge of our Catholic faith, or you would like to complete one or more sacraments (baptism, eucharist, or confirmation) now is the time to contact Daniel Goodman, OCIA Coordinator, to learn more.
On a somber note, our prayers are with our brothers and sisters who have been affected by the Maui fires, which have been burning over the past week. In support of the Hawaiian community, consider wearing a Hawaiian-inspired shirt this weekend and donating to our Maui Fire Relief Fund during a special collection that will take place during Mass this Saturday and Sunday.
