Meeting for coffee one morning, Joan Luise Hill, Katie Mahon and Mary Beth Phillips discover that each has a remarkable story to tell. Katie escaped a notorious serial killer. Mary Beth’s 6-month-old daughter had suffered an unspeakable act of violence and not only lived but thrived. And, in the event that brought them together, they all witnessed Joan’s son survive a catastrophic illness when after a 30-year career in medical administration and advancing medical solutions, her expertise was put to the test to save his life. Joan’s experience was the force for her and her co-authors to write The Miracle Chase: Three Women, Three Miracles and a Ten-Year Journey of Discovery and Friendship, and a second book with co-author Katie Mahon, The Miracle Collectors, Uncovering Stories of Wonder, Joy, and Mystery.
In addition to writing, Joan’s passions include working to advance health care and educational opportunities including years as a Trustee at an inner-city Catholic school in Massachusetts. Having lived in a number of states and with three adult children and families spread across the country, Joan and her husband are dedicated and constant travelers.
Joan’s books will be available for purchase.
