Dear St. Charles Parishioners...
We had a wonderful and spiritual celebration of Easter. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the parishioners who contributed to the beautiful Easter celebration we shared. Your dedication, support, and participation were integral to making this sacred time meaningful and memorable for our community.
Thank you for your attendance at the Easter services, where your presence added to the spirit of worship and reverence. Your voices raised in hymns and prayers echoed the joy and gratitude felt by all, creating a sense of unity and togetherness.
I am grateful for your contributions behind the scenes, whether through volunteering, decorating the church, preparing meals, or organizing special events. Your efforts brought warmth and hospitality to our celebrations, making everyone feel welcome and cherished.
Moreover, your generosity in sharing your time, talents, and resources exemplifies the spirit of Easter – a season of giving, love, and renewal. Your contributions have touched hearts and uplifted spirits, embodying the message of hope and compassion that Easter represents.

- What is Divine Mercy Sunday?
Divine Mercy Sunday is celebrated the Sunday after Easter. This is a Catholic feast that honors the mercy of God, particularly as revealed to Saint Faustina Kowalska. It emphasizes the boundless love and forgiveness of God toward all humanity. This day encourages us to seek God’s mercy through prayer, repentance, and acts of charity. It includes special devotions, such as the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and is a reminder of the opportunity for spiritual renewal and redemption. Pope John Paul II established it in 2000, aligning with the teachings of Saint Faustina and emphasizing the importance of mercy in the Christian faith. Join me this Sunday, April 7, in celebration of Divine Mercy Sunday!
- “Many Ministries One Church” - Bishop's Ministries Appeal
The word “Catholic” means “universal,” and our faith cares for all our sisters and brothers regardless of the parish in which they worship. Giving to this Appeal helps aid certain ministries and services that cannot be provided by a parish but only by a diocese. With your support, the diocese can assist new recruits, educate and form seminarians, pay a pension and needed medical care for our retired clergy, and support a diaconate program and ethnic minorities. 100% of all funds raised during this Appeal will go towards "Many Ministries One Church!" For more information about the 2024 Appeal, visit our website and take a moment to watch this video.
