Happy Father’s Day!
This Sunday, let us look to Saint Joseph, the stepfather of Jesus, who stands as a timeless model for Father’s Day by embodying virtues that resonate across generations. His unwavering faith, humility, and dedication highlight the essence of fatherhood. Joseph’s silent strength and selfless actions underscore his role as a protector and provider, ensuring the safety and well-being of his family under challenging circumstances. He embraced his duties with grace, illustrating that true fatherhood involves sacrifice and steadfast love.
As a carpenter, Joseph also represents the dignity of labor, teaching his son valuable life skills and imparting wisdom through everyday actions. His deep faith and obedience to God’s will serve as an inspiration for fathers to lead their families with moral integrity and spiritual guidance.
Celebrating Saint Joseph on Father’s Day reminds us of the profound impact of a devoted father, encouraging men to nurture, protect, and guide their families with love and humility.
Thank you VBS Volunteers!
I offer my heartfelt thanks to all the incredible volunteers and staff who are dedicating their time and energy to make this week's vacation Bible school a success. Your hard work, creativity, and commitment are providing a fun and enriching experience for the children. From organizing activities to teaching lessons and ensuring everyone’s safety, your efforts are not going unnoticed. You are planting seeds of faith, joy, and love that will grow in the hearts of our young ones.
You are also helping to bring a "swimmingly" good time to all of the children participating in “SCUBA, Diving into Friendship with God,” which is the theme for VBS this year. This would not be possible without each one of you. Thank you for making a lasting impact and being a blessing to our community!
I especially wish to thank Debi Rose, our VBS Director, for her dedication to this outstanding ministry. Please take a moment to read the letter Debi wrote as a thank you to the many volunteers.
