Greetings, St. Charles Parishioners:
It's that time of year again -- Christmas is right around the corner, and we have begun the annual St. Charles Giving Tree!
Our Social Concerns Committee has coordinated and overseen this charitable work I am pleased to be a part of this year's event and excited to see all the gifts as they arrive. Please don't forget to pick up your tags after daily or weekend Masses.
There are a variety of gifts or gift cards for all ages to purchase and donate, or we gratefully accept donations by check or online.
You can also find visible labels on each tag and include a recipient ID code and gift description. You may also include the name, age, and gender, plus the final due by/delivery date of December 8.
PLEASE READ THE TAG CAREFULLY and purchase the requested gift card amount or the new, age-appropriate item(s) listed on the tag. Follow the instructions for returning the gift card or gift to the church vestibule or to the business office Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A friendly reminder: Make sure you DON'T MISPLACE YOUR TAGS. This is the only way to guarantee that gifts are given to the right recipients.
Shop online or take a picture of the tag on your phone before going shopping and leave the tag at home in a safe place.
All gifts and gift cards will be due no later
than Sunday, December 8.
- Gift Cards: Put the unwrapped gift card, activation receipt, and the Giving Tree tag in a zip lock bag!
- Wrapped gifts: Put the gift receipt in the gift box or bag and attach the Giving Tree tag to the outside of the gift so it can be seen, read, and verified.
- Unwrapped TVH gifts: Attach the Giving Tree tag to the outside of the gift so it can be seen, read, and verified.
I offer my thanks to our Social Concerns Committee and to you, our parishioners, for helping to make this event a big success!
Blessings everyone,
-- Father Augustine Joseph
