--- Altar Wine Update ---
We sincerely appreciate Garry Rodrigue and the Rodrigue Molyneaux Winery for their generous donation of altar wine! Your kindness and support enhance our worship and bring our community closer in faith. Your thoughtful gift is a blessing, and we are truly grateful for your generosity. May you be abundantly blessed for your kindness and contribution to our church.
The bishop of our diocese, Michael Barber, will bless the winery and its wines later this month.
Given below is a brief description of the wine and winery by Garry Rodrigue:
For nearly 20 years, Rodrigue Molyneaux Winery has focused on crafting exceptional wines. The winery specializes in Italian and French Bordeaux varietals, using grapes sourced from its estate and the surrounding Livermore Valley.
Guests are invited to enjoy wine tastings in the winery’s picturesque gardens. The serene environment enhances the tasting experience, allowing visitors to appreciate the quality and character of the wines.
The Rodrigue Molyneaux Winery is conveniently located just a short distance from St. Charles. The winery extends a warm invitation to all parishioners to visit, explore, and enjoy the offerings. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or simply looking for a pleasant outing, the winery aims to provide a memorable experience.
We are excited about continuing the relationship that the Livermore Valley wine country has historically had with the Catholic Church.
“May God give you of the dew of heaven, and of the fatness of the earth, and plenty of grain and wine” Genesis 27:28.
Reminder:
Our Lenten Communal Reconciliation Service will be held this evening at 7:00 p.m. I look forward to seeing everyone there!
