Pope Leo XIV

Dear Parishioners,

I am pleased to announce that Robert Francis Prevost, an American Cardinal from Chicago, has been elected as our new pope: Pope Leo XIV. This is exciting news for all Catholics and citizens of the world.

Meanwhile, I look forward to seeing everyone as we celebrate Holy Mass in the Mission San Jose chapel this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. as part of our Pilgrimage of Hope. If you are wondering, the chapel at Mission San Jose is a reconstruction of the original adobe Church, which was built in 1809 and destroyed during the earthquake of 1868.
