Hello Parishioners
This weekend, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity - one of the central mysteries of our Christian faith. Unlike other feasts that commemorate a specific event, Trinity Sunday draws our attention to who God is: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - three persons in one divine essence.
The doctrine of the Trinity is not a theological puzzle to be solved, but a divine mystery to be adored. It reveals to us that God is a communion of love. The Father eternally loves the Son, the Son loves the Father, and the Holy Spirit is the bond of that perfect love. This profound mystery teaches us that relationship, unity, and love are at the very heart of God’s nature.
As Christians, we are baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Every time we make the sign of the cross, we profess our faith in this Triune God. It is more than a gesture; it is a powerful reminder that we live and move in the presence of the Trinity.
The Holy Trinity also invites us into divine life. Through Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit, we are drawn into the loving relationship of the Father. This is not a distant theological idea; it is a lived reality. We are called to reflect the unity of the Trinity in our families, our parishes, and our communities.
On this feast, may we renew our faith in the Triune God and grow in awe of the mystery that God is both infinitely beyond us and intimately close to us. Let us worship the Father who created us, the Son who redeemed us, and the Holy Spirit who sanctifies us; one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Happy Father’s Day!
Father’s Day is celebrated to honor fathers and father figures for their love, support, and guidance. We honor fathers with heartfelt gestures, gifts, and family gatherings, but above all with our prayers and support. It’s a time to express gratitude and appreciation for the vital role fathers play in their children’s lives. Father’s Day celebrates the strength, care, and dedication of dads everywhere.
