Altar Server Appreciation
On behalf of the Liturgy Department, Fr. Augustine, and our entire staff, we would like to recognize our altar servers for modeling a commitment to serving God and our church. This is especially noteworthy since many young people have full schedules with school and extracurriculars.
We currently have 20 altar servers - click here to see their pictures. Some altar servers have been serving our community for years, while others have been serving for months, and some are still in training. We are very grateful to them and their families for prioritizing their active participation in the Holy Mass. Our altar servers continually learn and grow in this important role.
Many people have commented on how attentive and responsible our altar servers are. Their smiling presence and competence are greatly appreciated. I've stepped into this role a few times, and I've seen firsthand how challenging it can be to keep track of the tasks and timing.
We would also like to express our gratitude to Pauline Galvan and Debi Rose for their patient and thorough instruction of our wonderful altar servers.
We would also like to thank the adults who assist as altar servers as needed. Your help is much appreciated!
