Hello, Parishioners:

On behalf of the St. Charles staff and clergy, we joyfully congratulate Deacon Aidan Cameron-Smith on his ordination as a transitional deacon for the Diocese of Oakland. Prior to his studies at the Catholic University of America, you may recall Aidan as a vital young parishioner who participated in several programs here at St. Charles.

Bishop Michael C. Barber, SJ, recently appointed Deacon Aidan to the St. Raymond Parish in Dublin for the summer. This fall he will continue studies at The Catholic University of America in canon law.

As Deacon Aidan begins this new chapter of ministry, may the Holy Spirit guide him in proclaiming the Gospel, serving at the altar, and bringing Christ’s love to all.

Let us keep Deacon Aiden in our prayers as he continues his journey toward the priesthood. May God bless his vocation abundantly and grant him wisdom, courage, and joy.
