Dear friends,

Autumn is upon us once again. I pray you and your family enjoy the fall season! As fall arrives, so does the ST. CHARLES ANNUAL RAFFLE! As our only major fundraising event, I would like your help. We ask for your participation in making this a success, just as you have in previous years.

Please keep an eye out on your mailbox; all registered parishioners will be receiving 20 tickets. Each ticket costs $10.00. You are welcome to purchase as many or as few as you want. If you wish to purchase additional tickets, they are available at the parish office. You can purchase your tickets by check, cash, or online (select "Fall Raffle" from the drop-down menu.)

As in the past years, we have exciting and multiple prizes to award. There will be five (5) Third Prize winners, two (2) Second Prize winners, and one (1) First Prize winner!

Once again, there will be different levels in the prize amounts awarded. State law mandates that when non-profits hold fundraisers, a maximum of 10% of the proceeds may be given away as prizes. So, we will not know the exact amounts until ticket sales are completed. For instance,

If $25,000 worth of tickets are purchased, we will award: five (5) Third Place prizes of $100 each, two (2) Second Place prizes of $500 each, and one (1) First Place prize of $1000.

If $30,000 worth of tickets are purchased, we will award: five (5) Third Place prizes of $100 each, two (2) Second Place prizes of $500 each, and one (1) First Place prize of $1500.

The drawing will be held on Thursday, November 13^th.
