2026 Pilgrimage
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
By God’s grace, a group of 14 of us left yesterday on a pilgrimage to Medjugorje and several holy places in Eastern Europe. We are deeply grateful for this opportunity to step away from our daily routines and embark on a journey of faith, prayer, and spiritual renewal.
As we prepare for this pilgrimage, we humbly ask you to keep us in your prayers. Please pray that the Lord will grant us safe travels, good health, and protection throughout our journey. May the Holy Spirit guide us each day, deepen our faith, and open our hearts to God’s presence. Pray that this pilgrimage may be a time of conversion, peace, healing, and renewed commitment to living the Gospel.
Although we will be many miles away, you will not be far from our hearts. We will carry with us the prayers and intentions of our parish family, our loved ones, and our entire community. At every church, shrine, and holy place we visit—especially in Medjugorje—we will remember each one of you in our prayers. We will pray for your families, your health, your needs, your joys and sorrows, and for all those who have asked us to pray for them.
We will also pray for our parish community, that it may continue to grow in faith, hope, and love, and that the Lord may bless all who serve with generous hearts. May our Blessed Mother intercede for us all, leading us ever closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.
Thank you for your love, encouragement, and prayers. We look forward to returning home with grateful hearts, renewed spirits, and many blessings to share. May this pilgrimage bear abundant spiritual fruit not only for those of us traveling, but for our entire parish community.
May God bless you abundantly, keep you in His loving care, and fill your hearts with His peace. We assure you of our prayers and ask you once again to remember us in yours.
With gratitude and prayers,
Father Augustine (the Pilgrimage Group)
