GOD LOVES A CHEERFUL GIVER
We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then encourage; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. (Romans 12:6-8)
Ministry Sign-up: Share Your Gifts. Serve with Joy.
Next weekend, we invite all parishioners to prayerfully consider sharing their gifts and talents by becoming involved in one of the many ministries here at Saint Charles Borromeo. Our parish grows stronger when each of us takes an active part in its life and mission.
God has blessed each of us with unique gifts and abilities. Ministry allows us to put those gifts into action while serving God and one another. Whether you enjoy welcoming people, assisting at Mass, helping behind the scenes, working with children and families, or supporting parish activities, there is a place for you.
Serving in ministry is also a wonderful way to meet fellow parishioners, build friendships, deepen your faith, and experience the joy of serving others. No gift is too small, and even a small commitment can make a meaningful difference.
Ministry sign-up sheets will be available in the pews next weekend. Please review the opportunities and prayerfully consider where God may be calling you to serve. We will have baskets available on the font for you to place your forms in.
Come share your gifts, serve with joy, and help us build a welcoming, vibrant, and faith-filled SCB community!
The Following Ministries are in Most Need of Volunteers:
Hospitality: Welcome parishioners and visitors with a warm smile and help create a friendly, prayerful atmosphere before, during, and after Mass.
Eucharistic Ministers: 7:30 Holy Mass: Assist in the reverent distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ during the 7:30 Holy Mass. This ministry offers a special opportunity to serve the parish community at the Eucharistic table.
Safety Team: Help provide a safe and secure environment for everyone attending Mass and parish activities. Team members remain attentive and are prepared to assist when unexpected situations arise.
Family Fellowship Sunday (Coffee & Donuts): Help create community and friendship by preparing and serving coffee and donuts after Mass. This ministry provides a welcoming opportunity for parishioners and families to meet and enjoy fellowship together.
Altar Linens: Prayerfully care for the sacred linens used during the celebration of the Eucharist. Volunteers help wash, prepare, and maintain these linens with reverence and attention.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word: Help children hear and understand God’s Word in a way appropriate to their age. We especially need adult leaders willing to guide our young parishioners and help nurture their growing relationship with Christ.
Music Ministry, Especially Youth Choir: Share your musical gifts by helping lead our parish community in sung prayer and worship. We especially encourage young people to join the Youth Choir and use their voices and talents to praise God.
