The St. Charles annual Giving Tree continues this weekend! Giving Tree category boards are set up in Borromeo Hall for social distancing to ensure everyone’s safety. We ask everyone to wear a mask, maintain social distancing, step-up to a board one person or family at a time, and only touch a tag when you take it.
You may pick-up tags on Saturday, November 14 from 5:00 – 6:00 pm, Sunday, November 15 from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm, Monday, November 16 from 10:00 – 11:00 am (for seniors), and Wednesday, November 18 from 5:00 – 6:30 pm.
The last 3 tag pick-up dates will be: Saturday, November 21 from 5:00 – 6:00 pm, Sunday, November 22 from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm and Thursday, November 26 from 10:00 – 11:00 am (after the Thanksgiving Day Mass).
Visible labels are on each tag and include a recipient ID code (AN, CCEB, TVH, SOM, VCARE), first name, age, gender, gift description and final due-by date.
PLEASE READ THE TAG CAREFULLY, purchase the item(s) listed on the tag, follow the instructions for how the gift card or wrapped gift is to be returned and by what date
Do not misplace ornament tags. This is the only way to guarantee that gifts are given to the correct recipients. Either shop on-line or take a picture of the tag on your phone to go shopping so you can leave the tag at home in a safe place. Gifts may be delivered to the rectory Monday-Thursday during normal business hours or drive-thru gift drop-offs start on Sunday, November 29 (check the calendar or website for details).
